Creme Soda French Toast
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup Shasta Creme Soda or Shasta Zero Sugar Creme Soda
- 8 slices brioche bread
- Vegetable oil or butter (for cooking)
- Additional maple syrup (for serving)
- Fresh fruits of choice
Directions
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and milk until well combined. Stir in ¼ cup of either Shasta Creme Soda or Shasta Zero Sugar Creme Soda. Dip each slice of brioche bread into the mixture, making sure both sides are fully coated.
Heat a nonstick skillet or pan over medium heat and lightly grease with vegetable oil or butter. Cook the soaked bread slices until golden brown on both sides.
Transfer to a serving plate, drizzle with maple syrup, and top with fresh seasonal fruit. Serve warm and enjoy!
